Moments by Shanaz is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom, operating at www.momentsbyshanaz.co.uk. We create personalised digital keepsakes including scratchcard reveals and digital invitations.

2. What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when placing an order or using our services:

• Your name and email address — so we can send you your completed digital product and respond to your order.
• The recipient's name — used solely to personalise the scratchcard or invitation you are ordering.
• Your message, headline and event details — the content you provide to personalise your product.
• Your Etsy order number — if provided, used only to match your order to an existing purchase.
• Guest names and email addresses — if you are ordering digital invitations and provide a guest list, we use these solely to send your guests their invitations on your behalf.

We do not collect payment information. All payments are handled by Etsy or another third-party payment processor, and we never see your card details.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide only to:

• Create and deliver your personalised digital product.
• Communicate with you about your order, including sending the finished product to your email.
• Send invitations to your guests on your behalf (where you have provided a guest list).
• Record your order for our internal business records.

We do not use your information for marketing, share it with third parties for advertising, or sell it to anyone.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of contract — you provide your information in order to receive a service from us, and we process it to fulfil that service. Where we send you communications unrelated to your order, we rely on legitimate interests.

5. How we store your information

Order details are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to us. Email communications are stored within our Gmail account. We take reasonable steps to keep this information secure and accessible only to us.

We do not use cookies, tracking scripts, or analytics on this website beyond what is necessary for the site to function.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep order records for up to 2 years from the date of your order for our business records. After this period, records are deleted. If you would like your information removed sooner, please contact us and we will action this within 30 days.

7. Third-party services we use

To deliver our service, we use the following third-party tools:

• EmailJS — used to send email notifications and deliver your finished product. Your email address is passed to EmailJS for this purpose only. See EmailJS Privacy Policy.
• Google Sheets — used to log and store order information. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — used to load fonts on this website. Google may collect limited data when fonts are loaded. See Google Privacy Policy.

We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or any advertising tracking on this website.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
